Residential & commercial
window film installation
across Scotland.
Specialist architectural window film and window tinting for homes, offices and businesses — privacy, solar control, heat reduction and UV protection. Professional installation, site survey, no-pressure quote.

What is window film,
and how does it work?
Window film is a thin, optically-clear (or tinted, or frosted) layer applied directly to the inside of your existing glass. Once installed, it changes how light, heat, UV and visibility pass through the window — without replacing the window itself.
No mess. No structural work. Films are virtually invisible from inside, and manufacturer-warranted for up to 10 years.
Professional window film installers
for homes & businesses.
Residential window film
Home and house window tinting for Scottish houses and flats — privacy film for street-facing rooms and bathrooms, solar control for south-facing living rooms and conservatories, anti-glare for home offices, and UV protection for flooring and furniture. Skylight, roof-window and garden-room film too.
Commercial window film
Office window tinting across Scotland plus commercial solar control, meeting-room privacy film, anti-glare for screens, glass manifestation for glazed doors and partitions, decorative film and safety / anti-shatter film — for offices, retail, schools, hotels and shopfronts.
Solar control & heat reduction
Solar control window film rejects up to 79% of the sun's heat, depending on the film and glazing — ideal for conservatories, garden rooms, roof glazing and any room that overheats, without dimming the space.
Privacy & frosted film
One-way mirror film gives daytime privacy while keeping your outward view — its effect depends on it being brighter outside than in, and can reverse at night. For privacy day and night, frosted or opaque film is the better choice, for homes, bathrooms, meeting rooms and shopfronts.
Window Tint Company is a specialist team of professional window film installers covering Scotland. We survey, specify and install architectural window film for houses, flats, offices, retail premises, schools, hotels and commercial buildings — we do not tint vehicles. Site survey and quote across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dunfermline and all of Scotland.
The benefits of
professional window film.
Beat the summer sun.
Solar control films reject up to 79% of the heat coming through your glass, depending on the film and glazing. South-facing rooms and conservatories become liveable again — without changing the look of the window.
Privacy when it counts.
One-way mirror film gives daytime privacy while keeping your view out — its effect depends on it being brighter outside than in, and can reverse at night. For privacy day and night, frosted or opaque film is the better choice.
Protect what's inside.
All our films block 99% of harmful UV rays — protecting furniture, flooring, artwork and skin from fading and long-term damage.
Easier on the eyes.
Anti-glare films cut harsh light on screens and reflections off glass — essential for home offices, shopfronts and any space with bright south or west exposure.

Why choose
Window Tint Company?
Architectural film specialists
We install architectural window film for buildings only — houses, flats, offices, retail, schools, hotels and commercial glazing. We do not tint vehicles.
Surveyed & specified
Every project starts with a survey of the glass, orientation and access. We match the correct film to your heat, glare, privacy, UV and safety needs — with samples on request and a written film specification.
Manufacturer-backed warranties
We fit films from established manufacturers, with warranties of up to 10 years on internally-applied film and 3 years on external film. Glazing compatibility is checked before we quote.
Clean, low-disruption installs
Most residential jobs finish in a single day. Commercial work can be scheduled out-of-hours, and our installers are PVG/DBS-checked for schools and public buildings.

We install privacy, frosted, one-way mirror, solar-control, heat-reduction, anti-glare, UV-protection, safety, security, decorative and glass-manifestation films for residential and commercial properties across Scotland.
One-way mirror film works when it's brighter outside than inside — so by day it gives privacy while you keep your view out. At night, with interior lights on, the effect can reduce or reverse. For privacy day and night, frosted or opaque film is the better choice.
Many films can be installed on double glazing, but the correct film must be matched to the glass type and unit. We check compatibility on the survey before recommending a film, so it's specified safely.
It depends on the film. Clear and neutral solar-control films reject heat and UV while keeping most of the natural light. More reflective or tinted films give stronger glare and privacy control but a more noticeable look. We show samples so you can choose.
Pricing depends on the total glass area, film specification, access and glazing type. We provide a tailored quotation following measurements or a site survey — usually within 24 hours.
Quality architectural film lasts many years when correctly specified and maintained. We offer manufacturer-backed warranties of up to 10 years on internally-applied film and 3 years on external film.
