Health & Safety Policy.
Window Tint Company is committed to the health and safety of our team, our clients and the public on every site we work on across Scotland.
Our commitment
We work to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and associated regulations. Safety is planned into every job, not bolted on afterwards.
Risk assessments & method statements
Commercial and access-sensitive installations are covered by a site-specific risk assessment and method statement (RAMS), which we can provide to facilities managers and main contractors on request.
Working at height
Work at height is carried out in line with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 using appropriate, inspected access equipment. For tall façades and roof glazing we plan safe access in advance and coordinate with the building's own provisions where needed.
Vetted installers
Our installers hold current PVG/DBS checks — important for work in schools, nurseries, healthcare and care settings — and certificates can be supplied ahead of the visit.
Insurance
We carry public liability insurance and can provide our certificate on request before work begins.
On-site conduct
We protect floors and furnishings, keep work areas tidy, minimise disruption, and clean up fully on completion. Out-of-hours working is available to avoid disrupting your operations.
Reporting
Any incident or near-miss is recorded and reviewed so we continually improve. Concerns can be raised with us at info@windowtintcompany.co.uk.
