The terms that apply to using this website and engaging Window Tint Company for installation work.
About this website
This website provides information about our services and lets you request a quote. Submitting a quote request is not a contract — a contract is formed only once we send you a written proposal and you accept it.
Quotes and surveys
Quotes are based on the information you provide and, where carried out, an on-site survey. We reserve the right to revise a quote if the actual site conditions differ materially from the brief. Site surveys are free and carry no obligation to proceed.
Payment
For residential projects we typically take a deposit on order and the balance on completion. Commercial terms are agreed per-project. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless agreed otherwise.
Warranty
Our installations are warranted against defects in workmanship for two years from the install date. The films themselves carry manufacturer warranties of up to 10 years for internally-applied film and 3 years for externally-applied film, passed through to you as the end customer.
Liability
We carry public liability insurance. We're not liable for pre-existing defects in glazing or for damage caused by misuse of the film (e.g. abrasive cleaning) after install.
Cancellation
You can cancel a confirmed order up to 7 days before the scheduled install date without charge. Inside 7 days, any film cut to size is non-refundable.
Website use
You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us. You may not copy or republish significant portions of the site without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
