Window film for schools: safety, glare and UV

Schools use film for three things: safety glazing, cooler classrooms and glare-free whiteboards. Here's how it fits the school year.

Schools and nurseries use window film for three practical reasons — safety glazing, classroom temperature and glare on screens and whiteboards — usually installed during holidays to avoid disruption.

Safety glazing

Safety film upgrades existing glass to hold together on impact (to BS EN 12600 where required) — a cost-effective way to bring low-level and high-traffic glazing up to standard without replacing units.

Cooler classrooms

South-facing classrooms become hard to work in during summer term. Solar film rejects the heat so pupils can concentrate.

Glare and UV

Anti-glare film clears reflections on interactive whiteboards and screens, and 99% UV rejection protects books, displays and materials. Our installers are PVG/DBS-checked and work out of hours.
