Installation & aftercare FAQs.

What happens on install day and how to care for your film.

How is window film installed?

We survey first, then on install day protect the area, clean the glass meticulously, apply the film with a slip solution and squeegee it out for a clear, bubble-free finish. Most jobs finish in a day.

How long does installation take?

Most homes finish in a single day; larger commercial jobs are phased. We'll tell you exactly upfront.

How do I clean window film?

Wait a couple of weeks after install to cure, then clean with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner — no scrapers, gritty pads or ammonia on certain films.

Will installation be messy or disruptive?

No — film is applied from inside, we protect floors and furniture, and we clean up fully. Commercial work can be done out-of-hours.

Can window film crack glass?

It's very rare and avoidable with correct specification — we check the glass type, size and condition on the survey and fit a compatible film.

Can you install in a listed building?

Yes — film is applied to the inside and is fully removable, so it doesn't alter the building's fabric.
