Good-quality architectural window film lasts a long time — typically 10 to 15 years or more for interior installations, and our films come with manufacturer-backed warranties of up to 15 years.

What affects lifespan

Film type and quality, whether it's fitted internally or externally, sun exposure and how it's cleaned all play a part. Interior films in normal conditions last the longest; external films (used where interior access isn't possible) have shorter lifespans due to weather exposure.

How to make it last

Wait a couple of weeks after install before cleaning, then use a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner — no scrapers, no gritty pads, no ammonia on certain films. That's really all it takes.

What the warranty covers

Manufacturer warranties typically cover bubbling, peeling, cracking and excessive colour change, and our workmanship is warranted separately. If anything ever goes wrong, we're local and easy to reach.
